Kyrgyzstan Waits for Turkish Investors

Kyrgyz president states there is ‘environment of trust’ between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.

Turkish investors are invited to invest in Kyrgyzstan by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov on Sunday.

Jeenbekov said that “There is an environment of trust between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Our bilateral relations are enhancing,” in his address at the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan Business Forum in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.

President Jeenbekov is reported that since 1995, Turkish businessmen invested more than $500 million in Krgyzstan.and he added “We wish to export ecological agriculture products to Turkey”

The president announced that bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan was about $356 million.

“Our[bilateral] trade volume increased 18 percent in the last 25 years. We do not use our full potential. We need to struggle to increase trade volume to $1 billion” added Jeenbekov.
