6 victims get aggravated life terms over Ankara attacak


On Monday, a Turkish court sentenced six defendants to 30 counts of aggravated life imprisonment on the 2016 attack in Ankara, where 29 people lost their lives.

The fatal Ankara explosion occurred in the evening crowded hours on Merazim Street, which links Dikmen Avenue to İnönü Boulevard and is close to the Chief of Staff and the parliament buildings.

The attack killed 29 people and 15 were arrested among the investigation.
